The black dial displays metallic red Arabic numerals at each hour with the exception of the six o'clock hour, where a date window is clearly displayed. The metallic red luminous hour and minute hands, and a metallic red second hand are easy to see against the fading black dial. Other features include an outside minute track and 24-hour timekeeping capabilities (via separate 24-hour hand). A comfort-fit black alligator leather strap securely fastens with a buckle clasp. This timepiece is powered by a Vostok Caliber 2426 automatic self-wind movement and is protected by a durable mineral crystal. SuperLuminova treated hour markers and hands. The Vostok-Europe brand of watches was established in 2004 and was geared initially to the Western European market. These watches are assembled by the Koliz Vostok Company of Vilnius, Lithuania.
Vostok-Europe is the joint-venture company between famous Russian watch maker Vostok and Koliz company, which is based in Lithuania. The company's first motto was "The Best Soviet Technologies for Modern Watch Design." Today's mottos are: "For going to extremes" and "Made for experts by experts."
